2026 March Madness Basketball Tournament
The Because of Joey March Madness 2026 event, was a high-energy community fundraiser where basketball, family fun, and a powerful cause came together for one unforgettable night.
On Friday, March 27, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Franklin Township School, this event rallied the community to support life-saving osteosarcoma and childhood cancer research.

What makes this event special is that it was more than a tournament. Students in grades 5–8 competed in a 4×4 single-elimination bracket, while families and supporters of all ages enjoyed side events like
- Basketball Brackets On Demand
- Homeroom Spare Change War
- Team Name and Shirt Design Awards
- Plus, Merchandise and Concessions.
Because of Joey March Madness 2… With affordable entry fees—$5 for adults, $3 for children, and a family cap of $15 – it was an easy and meaningful way for people to get involved.
Whether you come to play, cheer, donate, or simply be part of something bigger, this was your chance to make a real difference while enjoying a fun-filled evening with the community. Although the event has passed, you can still donate and support the fight against pediatric cancer today.
